A Very Impressive Impact Gun

Wow! How did I live so long without one of these? TheĀ Ingersoll-Rand 2135TiMAX makes taking off my wheels a snap. It went from 45-60 min for all 4 to under 15 minutes. This impact gun has a ton of torque but it doesn’t throw your arm around. I’m looking for new projects just to use this tool again!

This thing actually sings, it is so quick it should be outlawed. The light weight of the gun makes working with it a pleasure rather than a pain. It’s really fantastic and will break anything loose from a car lug to a tractor trailer. If you’re on the fence in choosing a gun you will not be disappointed with this one, it’s light and compact as well.

My Useful Weller P2C Butane Soldering Iron

I love this soldering iron. I really like not being tied to an outlet. It’s a very handy tool but as the tip ages it becomes hard to ignite. Also the exhaust will melt whatever it comes in contact with. I ruined a breadboard that way and burned my fingers a number of times. It’s hard to avoid doing this unless you pay close attention to which way you are holding the iron. Since this is an unavoidable problem with butane irons I suppose I can’t knock it too much for this. Just don’t think of it as a replacement for an electric iron. And watch out for the heat that comes out the “exhaust”.

The Dremel 3000 is Great for the Hobbyist

I bought the Dremel 3000 because I am seriously into radio controlled car/train hobby and it is perfect with the variable speed to handle cutting plastic. Its also great for around the house for those projects that require cutting thin metal and all the add pieces make it real easy to use. A nice bounce to this is the fact that the top makes it to where you don’t have to keep up with that thin metal wrench thing that we all know somebody else lost for us.
